Food Drive
Food Drive
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the need that our organization has seen for toiletries has increased more than 220%, non-perishable food by more than 250%, and our Fresh Food program, which only began in 2020, has grown by more than 1,800%.
This year, the amount of Fresh Food distributed has nearly doubled, showing us without a doubt that these programs are greatly needed by women in the North Shore. We are seeing upwards of 60 women accessing this program per week, an increase that we have been making great efforts to accommodate. We are sincerely grateful for your thoughtfulness and support!
The North Shore Women's Centre is in need of non-perishables and toiletries for their Emergency Food and Toiletry Program, especially:
shampoo & conditioner | deodorant | toothpaste | toothbrushes | body wash | body lotion | soap | cooking oil
| rice | pasta & pasta sauce | canned tuna | peanut butter
If you would like to contribute to the Innovative Fitness x North Shore Women's Centre Food Drive, please bring any non-perishables and unopened toiletries to the event on November 25!
The North Shore Women's Centre sincerely thanks you for supporting our work in the community. Want to see our impact on the North Shore? Read our 2022 Annual Report.
