Power in Connection

Teen Self-Discovery and Mentorship Program for girls and gender-diverse youth

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Teen empowerment program for girls and gender-diverse youth (ages 14-18)

This free, ten-week after-school program connects teen girls with inspiring women mentors from diverse fields such as visual arts, STEM, business, and more. Each week offers a unique, empowering experience through engaging workshops, interactive discussion circles, and hands-on activities—all in a fun, low-key, and safe environment. They will have the opportunity to hear from guest mentors who will share their personal journeys, the challenges they’ve faced, and how they’ve navigated their careers.

This program was designed to bridge the gap for youth who may not have access to resources or supportive networks that provide exposure to diverse careers and mentors—a challenge the program developer, Nilou, experienced firsthand. Through a combination of career exploration, skill-building workshops, and meaningful discussions, the program aims to empower young girls and gender-diverse youth to thrive and feel confident in an ever-changing world.
