The North Shore Women's Centre offers a variety of programs and services, including our Health and Wellness Program, Family Law Clinic, Basic Computer Training, annual Girls Empowerment Camp, support groups, and more.

These programs and services would not be possible without financial support from our donors.

Drop-in Resource Centre

Visit the Resource Centre for information & referral, public access computers, free copying & printing, and more.

Single Moms' Support Group

Connect with other Single Moms on the North Shore through facilitated discussion on a weekly basis.

Food Security Programs

Support for women and women-led families in need of urgent support with food, toiletries, and other essentials.

Community Income Tax Clinic

Women with a low or moderate personal income can receive support with simple tax questions at the NSWC

Health & Wellness Program

Attend free drop-in fitness classes or access holistic health treatments by a variety of volunteer health practioners.

Parenting Support Circles (in Farsi)

Mothers gather for weekly facilitated discussions in Farsi. Topics include parenting, relationships, schooling, and more.

Basic Computer Training

Learn computer skills and increase your familiarity and comfort with computer use in our free, one-on-one computer lessons taught by a volunteer.

Family Law
Clinic

The Centre provides support in dealing with Family Law issues, such as separation and child support - including a free, one-hour appointment with a lawyer.

Separation Support Group

Support group for women who are in the process of ending a marriage or common law relationship or are considering separation.

Flip The Script with EAAA™

Flip the Script™ is a 12-hour, educational program for women aged 15-24 proven to cut the risk of sexual violence by more than half.

Safe Dates is an educational program for youth of all genders to learn how to identify and prevent dating violence
