International Women's Day Celebration and Benefit
About the Event
Our International Women's Day Celebration and Benefit is the North Shore Women's Centre's largest annual fundraiser.
At this event, we raised awareness, celebrated accomplishments and came together for gender equity while raising funds to support our range of free programs and services for women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals on the North Shore.

We thank everyone who supported the event and came to learn more about our work, socialized with like-minded community members, and contributed to a meaningful cause!
On Saturday, March 7th, 2026 we held an inspiring evening celebrating International Women's Day✨ and supporting North Shore Women's Centre's vital work for the North Shore community.
Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner buffet, an exciting silent and live auction, and a night filled with community, connection and celebration! All proceeds directly supported NSWC's programs and services for women and gender-diverse individuals, which are all provided free of charge.

About International Women's Day
Since 1911, International Women's Day has been a global campaign and opportunity to celebrate the achievements of women, raise awareness about women's issues, discrimination, and sexism, and to take action to improve gender parity.
​
The North Shore Women's Centre sees International Women's Day as both an opportunity to celebrate women — those we admire, those we know, and those who came before us — and a chance to raise awareness for the issues impacting women on the North Shore today. This IWD, celebrate achievement and change with the NSWC. Together, we can continue to make a difference.
